Customer Notice: COVID-19

Skeffington Arms Hotel
In view of the government’s position regarding COVID-19, The Skeffington Arms Hotel will remain closed until the 20th of July. We apologise sincerely for any disappointment and inconvenience caused by the further closure but this measure is in line with the latest Government announcement.

Our Reservations team will be contacting all guests due to arrive from the 01st of June until the 19th of July 2020 to arrange new dates for your stay or offer a full refund amongst other options.


  • As a first port of call we will try to offer alternative dates for all bookings.
  • For larger groups, with bookings of 6 bedroom or more, please contact our Group Reservations Department directly by emailing frontoffice@theskeff.ie Ideally, we need confirmation on the group's intention to travel or cancel within 7 days of the arrival date. Any money prepaid can go towards alternative accommodation on alternative dates. We will work with the groups as best we can and we can discuss each group on a case by case basis.
  • For bookings made with third parties such as Booking.com, Expedia.com etc. please contact your booking agent directly. Note we cannot amend these bookings as the administration of the booking is handled directly with the third party.

The above statement outlines our current status. Should the national situation change we too will have to review our policies and action plans.
